Our commitment

La Rochelle Bakery & Café wants everyone to be able to browse our menu, learn about us and place an order online, including people with disabilities. We are committed to making larochellebakery.com accessible and usable for all of our guests.

Standards we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have mobility, cognitive or other disabilities.

What we do

• Use clear page headings and structure so pages work with screen readers.
• Provide text descriptions for meaningful images.
• Make sure the site can be used with a keyboard.
• Review new pages and features for accessibility before they go live.

Accessibility toolbox

Every page has an accessibility toolbox. Open it with the button at the bottom of the screen or by pressing Ctrl + F2. It lets you:

• Increase or decrease text size and switch to a more readable font
• Change color contrast (bright, reverse or uncolored display)
• Underline links and headings, and highlight content
• Turn on keyboard navigation and stop animations
• Use a larger cursor or zoom the screen

Known limitations

Some parts of our website may not yet be fully accessible. Some content comes from third parties, such as the embedded Google Map, online payment and delivery services, and social media links, and we do not control how accessible those services are. We are continuing to improve our website and fix issues as we find them.
